FINANCE & BUSINESS OPERATIONS LEAD

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

You will become the financial and operational backbone of NONA Drinks. You combine hands-on financial management with business partnering, operational follow-up and strategic thinking. In a growing company like ours, that means being comfortable switching between reviewing a P&L, setting up better processes, discussing forecasts with production partners and challenging a commercial business case. 

THE ROLE:

Finance & controlling

• Take ownership of the day-to-day financial management of the company. 
• Coordinate accounting activities and work closely with our external accounting partners. 
• Manage payments, cash flow and working capital. 
• Prepare and follow up budgets, forecasts and management reporting. 
• Develop clear financial dashboards and KPIs that help us make better decisions. 
• Act as a finance business partner to the General Manager and the sales manager. 
• Analyse margins, pricing, customer profitability and investment opportunities. 
• Further professionalise our financial controlling processes. 
• Support the leadership team with financial insights and scenario planning. 

System & processes

As NONA grows, our systems need to grow with us. You will: 

• Take the lead in selecting, implementing and further developing an ERP system. 
• Improve and automate financial and operational processes wherever possible. 
• Ensure reliable data flows between finance, sales, inventory and production. 
• Help build scalable processes that prepare NONA for its next stage of growth. 

Operations & forecasting

You will also play an important role in translating commercial growth into operational planning. You will: 

• Build and maintain our sales and production forecasts. 
• Follow up inventory levels and production planning. 
• Coordinate with production and supply partners. 
• Identify potential supply, stock or cash-flow risks early. 
• Help optimise working capital while ensuring product availability.

Commercial & business exposure

We deliberately want this role to go beyond finance. Depending on your experience and interests, you may: 

• Follow up a limited number of strategic/key accounts. 
• Participate in commercial negotiations. 
• Evaluate new customers, markets and business opportunities. 
• Work closely with sales and marketing on pricing, promotions and growth plans. 
• Get involved in strategic projects across the company. 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

First and foremost, we are looking for potential. 

You probably have around 5 years of professional experience, ideally in finance, controlling, consulting, audit, transaction services, FMCG or a fast-growing entrepreneurial environment. 

You: 

• Have a strong understanding of finance, accounting and controlling. 
• Can turn financial information into clear business insights and recommendations. 
• Are comfortable working with numbers, systems and data, but equally enjoy working with people. 
• Have an entrepreneurial mindset and are willing to get your hands dirty. 
• Enjoy building processes rather than simply managing existing ones. 
• Are structured and analytical, while remaining pragmatic. 
• Take ownership and don't wait for someone else to solve a problem. 
• Are curious about the commercial and operational side of a business. 
• Can challenge colleagues constructively and act as a trusted business partner. 
• Communicate confidently with internal and external stakeholders. 
• Are fluent in English. Dutch and/or French are a strong asset. 

Experience with ERP implementation, FMCG, production planning or key account management is a plus, but not a prerequisite. 

Most importantly: you want to grow 

We are not looking for someone who only wants to become a better financial controller. 

We are looking for someone who wants to understand how an entire company works. Someone who is curious about finance, sales, marketing, production, people, strategy and ultimately leadership. 

As NONA continues to grow, we want this role to grow with it. The initial focus will be on finance, controlling, systems and operations, but we explicitly see the potential for this person to take on broader responsibilities over time.
