With NONA, I want people to enjoy non-alcoholic cocktails without compromising on taste, quality or experience.
I’m Charlotte, passionate about nature and product innovation. As a child, I loved creating my own drinks with herbs I collected in the charming fields of the Bourgoyen-Ossemeersen, a nature reserve near Ghent. Later, my love for nature and curiosity about food technology grew into a degree in Bioscience Engineering (2017).
After the only non-alcoholic option the bartender could offer me during an afterwork was an overly sweet mocktail, I realised I wanted to change this. I started experimenting with herbs and NONA June was born.
I didn’t stop experimenting. Over the years, NONA grew into a full range of premium non-alcoholic spirits and cocktails.
My living room soon became my laboratory. Suddenly the room was filled with test samples and labels… all for the purpose of creating the perfect recipe for a non-alcoholic spirit which reminds of gin.
Our premium non-alcoholic spirits and cocktails are created through an intensive and innovative steam distillation process. Because there is no alcohol and hardly any sugar present to enhance the flavour, achieving the perfect flavour balance is a greater challenge. That is why NONA June, NONA Spritz (& Tonic) and NONA Ginger combine no fewer than 9, 27 and 12 botanicals respectively in each spirit.
NONA Mojito combines fresh juices from Italian limes and lemons with carefully selected natural extracts, including mint.
The natural ingredients, refinement, balance and complexity in NONA’s flavour profile make NONA the perfect choice for every lover of non-alcoholic cocktails.
To perfect our non-alcoholic spirits and cocktails, I asked renowned chefs and sommeliers for feedback.
From the fresh citrus and herbal notes of NONA June and the spicy ginger accents of NONA Ginger to the slightly bitter character of NONA Spritz (& Tonic) and the refreshing taste of NONA Mojito: every recipe was carefully developed.
